As October, aka “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” is coming to an end, I was recently reminded of the great support that so many give to this cause, while on an American Airlines flight a few days back.

For myself, the Susan G Komen Foundation has always been my chosen foundation of focus for my efforts, due to personal reasons of the breast cancer disease hitting close to home as well as my college sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, supporting Komen.

Now, as I prepare to embark on a short business + fun trip to Miami, I wanted to infuse my wardrobe with a little pink here and there to show my support.  After all, if the American Airlines crew can work it into their uniforms, I certainly can fit a few additional pink items into my suitcase.
